Betsey Cilley was born in 1824 at Goffstown, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.1 She was the daughter of Simmons B. Cilley and Mary Parker Ayer.2 She married Francis J. Beard on 3 August 1845.1 She died in 1906.1 She was buried at Appleton Cemetery, Deering, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.1
