EASTON Ulla F. (Ellsworth) Fisher, 88, of Easton, formerly of Hillsboro, N.H., died unexpectedly, Saturday morning, at home. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Fisher. Born in Hillsboro, July 2, 1920, a daughter of the late James L. and Nellie E. (Whitcomb) Ellsworth, she was raised in Hillsboro and was a graduate of Hillsboro-Dering High School. She worked in the Woolen Mills early in life and later she owned and operated with her husband the Pine Ridge Florist Nursery in Hillsboro which sold plants, cut flowers and vegetables. Ulla was one of the first five inductees into the Hillsboro High School Basketball Hall of Fame. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed knitting and walking. She was a lifelong resident of Hillsboro before moving to Easton in July 2007. She is survived by a son, James Fisher and his wife Ann of Easton; a daughter, Lannis Willems and her husband Marcial of Georgia; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home in Hillsboro, this upcoming week.
